Alkyl polyglucosides (APGs) are a class of nonionic surfactants formed by the reaction of fatty alcohols in natural plant oils with glucose. With the general chemical formula CₙH₂ₙ₊₁O(C₆H₁₀O₅)ₓH, they possess excellent surface activity, biodegradability, and mildness. They appear as a pale yellow to colorless transparent liquid or paste, are non-irritating, non-toxic, and renewable, making them an environmentally friendly surfactant widely used in personal care, detergents, agriculture, textiles, and industrial formulations.

3. Agriculture and Pesticide Formulations:

Used as an emulsifier, wetting agent, and solubilizer to improve pesticide spraying effects, enhance the absorption of active ingredients, and increase pesticide utilization.

Used as a penetrant, leveling agent, and cleaning agent to improve dye dispersion and penetration properties and reduce static electricity buildup.
